In iOS, apps aren't given permission to write data outside of their sandbox, so it is supposed to be impossible to be infected. Android is far more likely to be affected by malware due to the open nature of the OS. I never said they don't get viruses but its damn rare and highly unlikely. This seems to be a similar type of evangelism that Mac owners spout when you show them their mac has a virus clear as day but they flat out refuse to believe it. Apple themselves will tell you the same.Īlso you won't see many/if any approved IOS apps for AV.
